Undercover again, well at least this time Kate was under alot more than her usual prostitute. Today, she was wearing Jeans, Vans, a white cami top, a rather large black belt with silver studs, stripey gloves and a pair of sunglasses, with her long hair tied back. She was bent over a skateboard 'trying' to fix it. Ditzy girl trying to fix a skateboard. Well, she had to keep her cover up otherwise she'd never be able to meet with the Charlie bloke that she'd been sent out to find. Kind of a silly undercover mission she had thought, she knew perfectly well how to fix a skateboard and the trickyest part was trying to remember how NOT TO fix it back up again.
Earlier Kate had loosened the trucks on the skateboard to such an extent that she had ended up falling off it, scrazing her arm at the same time.

Charlie almost strutted down the street. He felt good, Jersey had been in the shop earlier. He smiled brightly as she wondered into his mind. He was on his lunch break and left the shop in the capible hands of one of the workers. He carried on down the street, spotting a few familiar faces. He heard the words "el bastardo" and looked down to see a pretty red head trying to fix her skateboard. He grinned madly as he crouched down beside her. "That's no way to talk to a skateboard." He said, looking her up and down, new to skateboarding he figured. "Need a hand?" He asked with a smile.

"Well it is." Kate said indignantly looking up at the person who had spoken to her. She reconised him immediately and almost sighed with relief as the reconistion hit her like a ton of bricks. She had seen him only once, but that was a photograph. Good thing she was excellent at remembering faces, also the photographic memory contributed to that. "Sure, I think the things are broken.." She said, pulling away from the skateboard and sitting back on the ground so that she could take a look at her arm. Which was bleeding. Oh well.

Charlie lent on his knees to take a closer look at the board. He grinned slightly as he looked back at Kate. "Those things, as you so put them, are the trucks." He looked back at the board, one of the trucks were actually snapped, probably because of the impact with the hard concrete. He looked back at her. "You'll need new ones." He noticed her arm bleeding a felt sorry for her. Poor little girl in the big city trying to skateboard and she fell off. "You should get that seen to."

Kate tried to act dumb, but with her IQ it was a little hard, not to mention testy for her as she couldn't manage to fake her own dumbness. "Oh.." She replied, a little forlornly as she watched what he was doing with the skateboard. Careful to make quality mental notes of his every action. "It's just a scratch." Kate shrugged at the comment about her arm. It was just a scratch and she'd mop it up with some of the alcoholic wipes that she had in her car a little later, once she was done finding out everything she could about Charlie. "So, what's up with it?" She asked, lacking genuine curiosity in her tone of voice.

Charlie looked at her again and nodded at her comment. He lifted the skateboard with only two of his fingers and flipped it to his other hand. He smiled at her. "Just a truck that's broken, the bit that has the wheel on it." He said with a cheeky grin. He looked around the street, it had actually been quiet today. He looked at his watch, his lunch break would be over soon, but he was the boss so he could be back anytime he wanted. He could feel her eyes on him, wondering what she was looking at.

"I'm not that ditzy." Kate replied at his comment and then frowned at his cheeky grin. She wondered if he'd figured it out that she wasn't actually there to get the skateboard fixed, but rather to record every single one of his actions, monitor his body language and make mental notes of every thing else he did or said. She shook her head. Probably not. Then she noticed that he had his eyes on her. Oh. Maybe he had. Prehaps now was the best time to strike. Kate held her ground for a little longer.

Charlie watched her frown. Jersey would have giggled at that. Some woman took everything too seriously. He was starting to wonder if she wasn't actually that ditzy and trying to pick up guys. He looked up at the clouds and saw a sheep in them, or maybe that was just a cloud. He started to remember the sheep/cloud he painted on his skateboard once. He shook his head to get rid of that random thought and looked back at Kate again. He watched her curiously, something made her look...defensively.
